Thandikudi

The excursion led by art historian K.T.Gandhirajan covered visits to megalithic dolmen sites, Thandikudi temple and Airawateshwara temple as well as interactions with the local Paniya tribes. Since children are the future of tomorrow they were sensitised to the need to preserve heritage and the unique flora and fauna of the region. The trip was a success since it made the students take a closer look at the rich historical treasures in their immediate environment.
